YAY!!!!! Spinnies'

Tonight we went to show some old fashioned Spinnaker pride.
My son's girlfriend is on the drill team.  So we traveled many hours, ok, just one,
to watch her perform.  Most of the time she is such a shy girl.
However, when she performs she shines.
We got her some flowers, and a card,
over all they took 2nd in regionals.  YAY!!!!

This is the scrapbook page I made.  I made it using Mixbook.  Jason doesn't mind if I scrapbook on the computer, because I can still sit next to him, while we watch a movie. I don't mind it because there is less mess.  However, sometimes I really miss the hands on.  My plan is to do the current ones on the computer, then as I work on my old books, they will be the traditional way.  Then I get the best of both worlds.  LOL

Jason's Birthday

I threw a surprise birthday party for my boyfriend. He was really surprised! I can't believe we were able to pull it off. His dad even flew in from Wyoming.
Yep, I used Mixbook.com to complete this page! Thanks for stopping by, hope you enjoy your day. Photobucket

Summer Fun

These are some pages that I created using Mixbook.com They are of the summer. Jason and I went up to Little Cottonwood a couple times. One time we did some fishing. He was teaching me how to stream fish. I haven't done that since I was a wee little girl. Beginners luck too, I caught 2 fishies, and he caught one. Had a lot of fun spending he day with my babe.

2010 Scrap Book Pages

Some of the more monumental moments of 2010.
I like how the layout of these pages turned out.
Thank goodness for pictures, and scrap booking.
Without it, the memories would not stay as vibrant.

The funeral of my sons best friend.

Yes, I gauged my sons ear, along with his friends.  (I had permission)
This is my poor Sheldon, he got strep, ear infection, eyeritis, and mono~ all at the same time.  This is most miserable I have ever seen any of my kids.

One of my favorite layouts.  My daughter and I went to the Great Salt Lake
for some mommy daughter time.

My dad and My son

This is my oldest son and his Grandpa (my dad). Shelby came back for a visit, he is living in Florida going to school there. I thought these pictures were cool. My dad doesn't know what a smart phone is, however he does know the make, model, and year of the muscle cars Shelby was pulling up on it. LOL Love my family.
Thank you Mixbook.com once again for making it easy to scrap book!

Moab, UT May 25-28 2012

This is one of the three scrapbook pages I did for our Moab trip. I had never been there before this year. This was the first time I met Jason and his family. They are awesome, I might add. We had a lot of fun getting to know each other!
I used Mixbook.com to create this page. I love how easy it is! They keep their layouts fresh too, so you don't use the same stuff over and over.  If you haven't tried it~ might I suggest that you check it out.
Dipping my foot in the Colorado river.
As Eeyore would say......"It's a blustery day"
Jason, Riley, and I in front at Moab.
Saying goodbye to our camp spot, and the river.

2011 Scrapbook Pages

I have been really limited on time since my basement flooded. It's kinda hard being a single mom of 4 (one in Florida), working full time, laundry, cleaning, etc. etc. and trying to get my house put back together, after having 2 inches of water. We had to cut out all the sheet rock about 18" high, rip out all the carpet, molding. Then after the demo work is done, it's time to rebuild. I am not a contractor, but I sure am pretending to be. I have done most of the work myself. My boys have helped, as well as a couple really good friends (Kandi and Wendy). I think it looks pretty good. Anyway, point to my story, my Scrap booking is done mainly using "Mixbook.com". Give them a try, it's a really fast and fun way to Scrapbook. I still have a lot of work to get done in the basement, but my boys have their rooms and bathroom back. YAY!!!!
Shelby's 21st Birthday. He's the one that is going to school in Floriday.
My daughters Wizard of Oz birthday.
This is my new puppy.  I've had dobberman pincers for the last 20 years,
it was time to get another.
Here are some pictures of my dad's 80th birthday party.
It was great to celebrate this with him.
 Sheldon's Birthday party.

And here are some pictures of us working on the basement.

 Bradon's 17th Birthday party

One of the best Christmases I've had in a long time.  Spent it with my bestie, her kids, and my dad  in the am.  Then she and I went out to dinner together, topped the night off with some cocktails and dance central.

Sew Scrappy

I always look at these ladies who sew on their pages. I think to myself, that is just too much time and effort. Even
though I love how it looks, I will NEVER do it. Well.....I was wrong. One late night I was working on the Faux Mother of Pearl technique. Making these flowers. When I glanced over and noticed that my sewing machine was staring at me! So I lovingly brought him into my craft room, and sewed this page. Ya know, it really wasn't that hard. I will do it again.
Some other flowers, I was playing with. I am also diggin' this new SU! punch. Blossom Petals Punch It's in the current mini catalog so if you don't have it, you should get it really quick. Thanks so much for stopping by today, I truly appreciate it. Have a wonderful day!

Winter Warmies FCCB #42

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #42 "Winter Warmies" Create a project using some kind of clothing on your project. And of course use your cricut.
I don't know where all of you guys are from, I am in Utah and it is cold. So mittens, hats, and scarves are a must. I made this layout using Winter Woodlands which has been my favorite cartridge lately- definitely not neglected. The snowflakes are from SU-Serene Snowflakes. I used the versa-mark resist technique. Colors I used are cherry cobbler, baja breeze, and night of navy. This was one of the funner projects I have done lately. It just seemed to come together nicely. Let me know what you think. Have a great day!

By the Waterfall

Yes, yes another leaf page. See I am inspired!!!!!!
This beautiful paper is from Stampin' Up! It is retired but we do have others to choose from.
These pictures were taken the same day as the ones I posted yesterday, but these are our serious pics. The reason we went up there was to get some good family photos.
I like how the pictures turned out, it is beautiful up there. Quit the climb in skirt and dress boots though. Thanks for visiting today!
