Hello, You Birdie

I was browsing around Spiltcoast Stampers and came across this technique, Stamped Acrylic Background . After the kids went home I had to do it.  It took me a couple times to get it down, at first I didn't get enough ink on the block.  I tried dabbing it on, that didn't work so well, then I just wipped the ink on.  That worked pretty well. I used the craft pads on glossy card stock.  It may have helped to read the tutorial but, I just looked at the pics!  ;) that's how I roll.

Recipe:
Technique- Acryllic Block
~Cricut Cartridge: Stamped
~Ink: SU craft inks tempting turquoise, always artichoke, daffodil delight,
versamark, black embossing powder

Bags for Grandma's

Welcome to the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #10!!!!!!
The challenge this week is to use create a 3-D project, and incorporate the color black.
I made this bag for Grandma Stark. I used Tags, Bags, Boxes & More I stretched the design as much as possible. (I have got to get me larger paper.) =) Then cut it out. I put some acetate for the window. I am so excited I earned enough cricut rewards to get a free cartridge...dum dum dum... I got Beyond Birthdays!!!!! This is my first project using it. I used it to make the card and the verse. This cartridge is not one that was high on my wish list. But for the price of shipping, what the hay!!!! I stamped with SU craft inks using sprinkles set. Then added some bling.
My BF thought the box was filled with paper--silly man I said those are bath salts. "oh grandma will like that" he said and I thought to myself "I know that's why I did it." lol
This one I made for Grandma Cook. Same principle as above. Only it is filled with peppermint foot soak.
Here you can see the detail of the craft ink on the dark paper. I love that look!!!!! The color chosen here is Orchid Opulence. Well I must go create something else. I am on a scrapbooking kick! So I am sure it will be along those lines!!! Take care and have a great day.

On Board ~ Chipboard

Anyway..so this is some cards I made one day while playing with the onboard chipboard On the seaside one, I really did put regular play sand on it. My kids were thinking I was crazy. I don't know why I keep my iron in my craft room, no where near the ironing board in the laundry room. I know you crafty people know where I am coming from.

Craft Pad Creations

I hadn't really played that much with the craft pads. But I have so many customers asking me to explain the difference between the classic colors and the craft pads. This look is one of favorite things you can do. The craft pads also makes embossing easy and very colorful. Now I am in love with these pads, I will definitely be buying them. Before I only had a couple colors. I made the wings using "pick a petal" I stamped the wing outline on vellum with orchid opulence, then embossed with iridescent ice.
