Winter Warmies FCCB #42

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #42 "Winter Warmies" Create a project using some kind of clothing on your project. And of course use your cricut.
I don't know where all of you guys are from, I am in Utah and it is cold. So mittens, hats, and scarves are a must. I made this layout using Winter Woodlands which has been my favorite cartridge lately- definitely not neglected. The snowflakes are from SU-Serene Snowflakes. I used the versa-mark resist technique. Colors I used are cherry cobbler, baja breeze, and night of navy. This was one of the funner projects I have done lately. It just seemed to come together nicely. Let me know what you think. Have a great day!

Three Snowmen FCCB #38

Challenge #38
at Fantabulos Cricut Use ribbon somewhere on your Cricut project. If you haven't played along with us at Fantabulous Cricut this should definitely be the week to do it. How easy could it get- just make something using your cricut, and some ribbon!!!! =0)

whooooop. snowmen taking a rest!
I used Winter woodland to cut out the snowmen.
I think the ribbons bring it to life just a bit more. The trees are stamped using SU-Flaky Friends. and the snowflakes are from SU-Serene Snowflakes
Thanks for joining me today. Hope you have a happy day.

Glittering Dasher

I am pretty excited ... I get to meet with my girls tonight. It is Stampin' Up! club time. This is the card we are going to make. I was racking my brain this month. I wanted something so cool. Yet pretty simple. Since the class is on acetate & tissue technique I did a lot of the prep work before the party. (you ladies better appreciate it LOL)

I have also made a tutorial here for you to watch. Hope you enjoy your day today. And get at least one fun thing. Take Care!! Photobucket

Snow Topped Trees

Set: lovely as a tree, serene snowflakes Colors" always artichoke, chocolate chip, white emboss, white craft pad ribbon: bravo burgandy I used the white craft pad to stamp snowflakes all over the always artichoke. I used always artichoke to stamp the trees on the white card stock. Added some dazzling diamonds to make it look had fresh sparkly snow had fallen. The greeting is embossed.

Buck Seasons Greetings JB #14

Just Buggin' Challeng Use Layers I actually used this card layout in one of my summer classes, I had some extras cut. The colors scream Christmas! =), and I have been dying to use by back woods set (I think it speaks Christmas)! Then comes along the challenge from just buggin' this week and it is to use layers. So here is how I did my layers. Cut the white cardstock out on a 4" from storybook, then added .25" horizontally and vertically, for the burgandy background. I love the design studio it makes it so easy to get the exact size you want....Well, this is the outcome-what do you think? The white is rolled in soft suede then stamped with Season's Greeting from four Christmas. The snowflakes are from Serene Snowflakes, stamped in always atrichoke. The card is then lined with a 3/8" bravo burgandy ribbon. I glued some of the chunky glitter using the tomboy adhesive, to give the snow effect. I sell cards at my sisters work every year, and this was the most popular, so I have 60 to make. It's a good thing I thrive on card making. TFL have a great day!

Serene Snowflakes

These snowflakes are just beautiful, don't you think. I really love the white on Kraft paper. These are embossed with white. I used the scallop edge to create the white border around the sage shadow saying. The top is lined with a white ribbon. Pretty simple card to make, but still elegant.

Serene Holiday Wishes

Some more playing. I have about 60 Christmas cards that I need to make. So I don't feel like I am wasting time at all. I just got this Serene Snowflakes I used the cuttlebug folder to emboss the snowflakes on white. I stamped craft white on basic gray, then layered them onto soft suede. The center snowflake is stamped in soft suede and layered on basic gray. And that is about it. TFL Have a great day!!!!
