Airplane Card

So my little boy turns 21 TODAY!  This is the first year in all 21, that we haven't spent it together.  Not to mention I did't get to make him a cake.  He works in Florida.  At least he got his card today.  I will have to make him a cake when he comes home to visit.  I love you so much Bradon and I miss you.

Colts Football Cake

My niece and I decided to make life easy on everyone, and combine the birthdays of our two sons.  Bradon is mine he turned 19..... and this is his cake!  Since it's football season, I ordered the football cake pan, and football decorations.  I thought hey, double duty, I can use the pan for each of their cakes, and for when the BRONCOS go to SUPERBOWL 2014!!!!
Can't wait to make that cake!  My man will love it.
Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!

Colts Football Card

My son's birthday is today.  I made this card and a cake to match..... stay tuned.  He's liked the Colts for many years, and was devastated when they lost Manning.
I realize he's 19 this year, and probably doesn't need a theme party.
Oh what am I saying, everyone loves to be spoiled at least once a year.
As long as I am able I will be that person,
that spoils them for their birthday, at least with a cake!

Cricut Cartridge: Sports Mania, Batman(phrase) Helmet: 3", Background:5"
 Paper: Marina Mist, Early Espresso,

Pretty simple card actually, but looks good.

Happy Birthday my 6 Foot baby boy~  Bradon!!!!!

YAY!!!!! Spinnies'

Tonight we went to show some old fashioned Spinnaker pride.
My son's girlfriend is on the drill team.  So we traveled many hours, ok, just one,
to watch her perform.  Most of the time she is such a shy girl.
However, when she performs she shines.
We got her some flowers, and a card,
over all they took 2nd in regionals.  YAY!!!!

This is the scrapbook page I made.  I made it using Mixbook.  Jason doesn't mind if I scrapbook on the computer, because I can still sit next to him, while we watch a movie. I don't mind it because there is less mess.  However, sometimes I really miss the hands on.  My plan is to do the current ones on the computer, then as I work on my old books, they will be the traditional way.  Then I get the best of both worlds.  LOL

Bradon's 18th Bday

I made

I made this card for sons 18th birthday.  Like most of us with kids, I really don't understand where the years have gone.  I am very proud of him, he is a good kid, and pretty darn handsome too.

I used the Cricut to cut out the star (George Font) , 18,(Ashlynn's Alphabet) and phrase (Sweet Treats) For the background i used the shaving cream technique. With SU colors: Pacific Point, Crumb Cake, & Chery Cobbler.  After cutting everything out, I adhered the 18 to the star, and used some iridescent ice from SU to make it all sparkle. I also threw some star brads on.
