Alphabet Flash Cards FCCB #217

I made this for a cute little girl that I tend.  She is turning 2 next month.  I had to make sure the cards had a ladybug in them, so she'll never forget me.  This is a great project to use a lot of cartridges.   Also used up some retired paper.  The letters on the front are stamped, and the words on the back are computer generated.  I then made a template to cut the tags out with  my Cricut.  After finishing the cards and the container, I laminated everything, to help make it last a long time.  I should have kept track of how many hours I have into this project, but I think it would devastate me.  So, I'll just look at how cute it is, how fun it was to make, and the little smile I am sure it will receive.

Daddy Day Presents

PhotobucketWell, I finally got them done.  I have been trying to get this little project done all week. There has been one thing after another.  So I haven't been able to.  Now, it's down to the nitty gritty.  Thank goodness the world cooperated with me today, or I would've been doing this Sunday morning. Ugggh!   These are the gifts my daughter and bonus daughter are giving their dad's to celebrate father's day!

Here is one of phrases:

In the entire MILKY WAY of  dads, I really SKORE'd when I got you!
You make me SNICKER when you talk like Marvin the Martian.
I admire that you can fix any WHATCAMACALLIT.
Dad, I wouldn't trade you for 100GRAND!
Hope you have an EXTRA special Fathers Day!!!

I cut the boxes out at 7" the cards are cut at 3" using "Sweet Treats"!  We taped the candy bars onto popsicle sticks then stuck them in foam.  Of course wrapped them all pretty, and they are ready to roll.  I may make my dad one also.  Still trying to decide. I am entering this in the Fabtabulous Cricut challenge me Monday!

Challenge #214 Celebrate Dad

Hurry go your project you made for your dad with your Cricut.... you have until Sunday!  You could win a fantastic prize from SVGcuts $50.00 gift card... sounds great to me!

I had a fun time with the girls making these....they will get the credit, even though I did the work.  That's what you sign up though, when you are mom.  (or bonus mom)  Have a great day!

When I started, I made the flowers because they looked fun.
Then came the paper, and the ribbon, and the phrase.  When I was finished it reminded me of Danielle, Jason's daughter.
I absoluely love this DSP paper from SU with the sparkles all over.

24 Notes

PhotobucketThis is the cake I made for my sons 24 Birthday.  So hard to believe that he is 24 already.  He is almost older than me.  ;)  He's been into music as long as I can remember.  It really became a passion for him when he was 14, he was hit by a car.  I got him a guitar, and he taught himself how play.  His favorite was Metallica.  It's a good thing I love metal as well.  Anyway,  I was scrolling through Cricut craft room.  "Quarter Note" really grabbed my attention!  So I ordered it, and had a blast making this cake.  Especially using the notes to make the pattern on the fondant.  The more I use my airbrush system the more I love it.  Hope you had a wonderful day, son.  I love you so much, and I am proud of you!    **The inside of this cake is checkerboard.   Cherry Chip, and Kahlua.  With a cream cheese Kahlua middle.
