10th Bday Party

My little girl is turning 10.  So I pulled out my toys.  I haven't
played with my stamps for a very long time.
I am surprised I even remember what to do with them.
As we all say, when our children grow up, where has
the time gone?  I can not believe my baby was born
10 years ago.  In a way I am glad to have my kids growing
up, so I can have more free time.  On the other hand, I dislike the
fact that I am growing older, and my kids need me less.
Rock and a hard spot I suppose.  I do know I am very
blessed to have my four children, and I wouldn't trade
them for anything!!!!

I don't know, just one of those mornings that I woke up and thought
this is what I want to do today.  She is having a "Monster High" party.
So this fits the colors perfectly!
This is a pretty old SU set.

Winter Warmies FCCB #42

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #42 "Winter Warmies" Create a project using some kind of clothing on your project. And of course use your cricut.
I don't know where all of you guys are from, I am in Utah and it is cold. So mittens, hats, and scarves are a must. I made this layout using Winter Woodlands which has been my favorite cartridge lately- definitely not neglected. The snowflakes are from SU-Serene Snowflakes. I used the versa-mark resist technique. Colors I used are cherry cobbler, baja breeze, and night of navy. This was one of the funner projects I have done lately. It just seemed to come together nicely. Let me know what you think. Have a great day!

Embossed Snowflake

I love getting new toys to play with. This is the Snowflake Impression form SU I used the versamark resist on the back ground and then embossed over the top. Then put it all together. The colors I used were Pretty in pink, Baja Breeze, and Marina Mist.
This card makes me excited for the snow to come! If only it could be this pretty all the time.

Stars of Red, White and Blue

The technique I used for this cardis Emboss Resist. The colors of ink is real red, brilliant blue, embossed in white. The cardstock is the same. The some silver cord tied around it and some brads. Pretty simple. Thanks for looking.
