PhotobucketIt's been a while since I've had a cake order from this friend of mine.  She wanted an orange cake, with orange buttercream.  I used "The Nightmare Before Christmas" cards on top of the cake.  I got the cards for my daughter for Christmas.  Then I scanned them in and printed them on edible paper.  Loving this!!!!!

I made this for one of my daycare kids.  She loves kitties so much.  She picked this cake out about 8 months ago.  I figured she'd change her mind, like most kids.  She stuck to it though.  She was also very excited to get her cake, and take it home.

Elsa Doll

I had the privilege of making this cake for an adorable little girl I spend my days with. I asked her mom to bring her over when she picked it up. She brought the whole family. :) Seriously, this little girls face when she saw it, makes it all worth while.

Made this cake for my nephew.  Chocolate cake with buttercream frosting.  The boots are candles, the fence posts are sculpted from gum paste.

Still Kickin

My mom's 80th Birthday was last Saturday.  I made her this cake, "still kicking'"  I wasn't sure how she would take it.  She think I called her an ass. Oh well, I thought it was a cute idea.  I made the card to match.  It was fun.  The flavor is carrot cake with cream cheese filling.  At least it is one of her favorite flavors.  LOL

You have to admit, it is a cute little ass~

Baby Blocks

Got this cake order from a friend of a friend on FB.  Crazy how that works.  I made the blocks out of gum paste.  I also got to use my Cricut to cut out the shapes on the blocks.  How fun!!!

Mine Craft

These Mine Craft cakes are very popular these days.  My son loves this game,  I watch him sometimes, and just don't get the fascination.  Oh well.  Not everyone likes making cake either.

Seashore Wedding

Our first Wedding Cake! This had to travel all the way to Lake Powell. Well, it got a little soaked.  That's ok though, it was a beach wedding after all.  Also, I get to make me another one for our reception.

Flip Flops

Cake I made for my Sam. It is a delicious brown sugar cake. Happy Birthday!!!!!

MsMindy's Wedding Cake

Yummy Vanilla and Red Velvet.  Really classic wedding cake.  Pretty easy but look how elegant it looks.  Keep it simple, we should all do that.

Chris Brown

I love the lady who orders these cakes.  She will not order chocolate cakes, which I think is insane.  But, she is fun to work with.  Thanks Elaine!
