Bread, Wine and Salt

Danielle and Brent just moved into their own town home. They have only been there for a little over two weeks. Last night they had their house warming party. I was truly amazed at how much they had accomplished. It looks great, such a warm and inviting place to be. Here is the card and wall hanging I made for her. We gave them a gift basket. If you've ever seen "It's a wonderful life" you know that they give bread, so the house will never know hunger. Salt, so life will always have flavor, wine to bring happiness and prosperity. The Candle I added so you will always see the light even on the darkest day.
Here is the framed art I made for them.  I wanted to stamp it to match the card.

I haven't stamped for a while. I decided to pop over to Split Coast Stampers for a little inspiration. Of course I found it. Here is a great little tutorial,on Triple Stamping~ which I used for my card. I had so much fun stamping the card. That I decided to make them the framed art to match.

Recipe:
Paper: Early Espresso cut into three pieces, 4- 1/4x4- 1/4, 3- 1/4x 3- 1/4, 2- 1/4x 2- 1/4.  White cut into 4x4, 3x3, and 2x2.
Pads:  Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight, Early Expresso
Sets: "Bliss", "Four Frames"
I also rolled the tissue paper before putting in around each gift.  For some silly reason I did not take a picture of the entire basket.  Oh well, I will have to make another one.

Thanks for stopping by, I really appreciate the support.

YAY!!!!! Spinnies'

Tonight we went to show some old fashioned Spinnaker pride.
My son's girlfriend is on the drill team.  So we traveled many hours, ok, just one,
to watch her perform.  Most of the time she is such a shy girl.
However, when she performs she shines.
We got her some flowers, and a card,
over all they took 2nd in regionals.  YAY!!!!

This is the scrapbook page I made.  I made it using Mixbook.  Jason doesn't mind if I scrapbook on the computer, because I can still sit next to him, while we watch a movie. I don't mind it because there is less mess.  However, sometimes I really miss the hands on.  My plan is to do the current ones on the computer, then as I work on my old books, they will be the traditional way.  Then I get the best of both worlds.  LOL

This is the third Monster High cake of the year. It has been a very popular theme this year. The topper is edible sugar. Makes making a cake very quick.

Hulk Wedding Cake

Shanice ordered this cake for her sister. They are big 'Hulk' fans. So of course the cake had to be hulk green. Their other color was purple. So purple and green were the only specifications. The rest of the cake design was up to me. Which is my favorite way.

One Direction

Jason's daughter wanted a One Direction Cake. Of course I was going to make it for her...However, I called Reams to get a price, so see if maybe I could buy the sugar picture from them. I asked them if they had a "one direction" sugar picture. He replied "we can turn the picture any direction you want." I needed a good laugh. Any way I ordered the picture from Amazon. Which is my go to place for everything. Hope you enjoy.
