Alphabet Flash Cards FCCB #217

I made this for a cute little girl that I tend.  She is turning 2 next month.  I had to make sure the cards had a ladybug in them, so she'll never forget me.  This is a great project to use a lot of cartridges.   Also used up some retired paper.  The letters on the front are stamped, and the words on the back are computer generated.  I then made a template to cut the tags out with  my Cricut.  After finishing the cards and the container, I laminated everything, to help make it last a long time.  I should have kept track of how many hours I have into this project, but I think it would devastate me.  So, I'll just look at how cute it is, how fun it was to make, and the little smile I am sure it will receive.

Mermaid

This cake is for one of Bradon's friends, Shaylee.  She came over for Bradon's grad party and loved his Pirate cake. She had to have a mermaid cake. She sweet talked her mom into getting her one, and one for her sister too! Their mom was excited to hear I made cakes, and could get one ready for her twin girls. How strange that I've had to sets of cakes for twins this week. This is the first one.... I made a raspberry swirl cake with buttercream frosting. So delicious, and a little tangy.

Party Cake

Just a little more playing with my cricut cake.
This wasn't made for any particular reason, just to practice with. I need to work more on the thickness of it.
I did like how the scallops turned out.
Just a quickie today. See you soon, have a great day. ~Sharon

Pinochio

This LO I really like. I used my "life is a beach" cartridge. I remember being amazed at how life like these little houses were I went on this ride.
I am trying to use my retiring SU colors. That has been my personal challenge. Because seriously what else am I going to do with it? The whale is cut from bordering blue. The rest of the blue is Brocade.
I thought the buttons added a cute touch, along with the google eye. My little guy really pops out! He is such a cute whale. I see a bright future for him. "get whale" cards "whale of a birthday" cards. So I hope you have this cartridge- and can play with this whale.
Have a great day!

Sea World

Ya know I gotta say thank goodness for DAD's sometimes. My dad put these into an album for me, and saved them. Now when I get my grubby little hands on them. They look nice, and not all cut up like the ones that have been in my possession. He did ask me why I didn't leave them the way he had them In one of those of those albums that you just slide the pictures into. "well I have to express my creativity" These LO I am much more pleased with, basically because I was more inspired because the pictures are whole. I used the "life's a beach" cartridge for all of these LO. That cartridge really has cute images on it. I am glad I broke it out. We had a great time together. :)

Ok *smile* have a great day

Lake Tahoe

My goal this year is to get caught up on my scrapbooking. This year has started out with a few deaths. There were 3 last week, and 2 earlier this year. Either of friends, or relations of friends. So I think I am feeling nostalgic, and I want to get my story ready for my kids. (at least what I captured of it) Anyway I took this trip with my dad before I moved out. I had a habit of cutting the pictures down to just the object. I am so mad at myself for that, it made me have a hard time getting inspired. These are some that I left for the most part whole. I think this LO turned out very pretty and soft just like Lake Tahoe. Well let me know what you think, I always appreciate comments.

Cartridge: Life's a beach Paper: SU dsp, SU baja breeze buttons: SU Stamps: "so swirly" Jumbo Wheel with baja breeze ink
I started heavily on scrapbooking on March 27, since then I have done 107 pages. I will post more. Some are just slapped on because I lack motivation because I cut around the objects. It's hard to put your "all" into a LO that has sucky pics!!!

Under the Sea wishes (Just Buggin' #24)

Challenge #24: 3D, Make a three dimensional project using your Cricut machine. Think boxes, purses, pop-up cards, etc! I wanted to make a true pop up card. Then when you opened it everything popped up. Colors: apricot appeal, basci gray, black, cocoa, blush blossom, brocade blue, cameo coral. maybe some others. Cartridge: Life is a beach After the frustration was over, then I decided it was very fun to make. The waves etc all pop up when the card is opened.
