Umbrella gift set for Mom

PhotobucketGood morning!  Well, it's morning while I am writing this!  It's suppose to be a beautiful day.  I started my morning, by first of all cleaning my play room (You'll see why in a minute).  Then I finished up a project that I started on last night.  It is for Jason's mom, she lives in Wyoming so it will be for Mother's day and her birthday.  That's ok right?  To double up and save shipping  ;)   The idea came about because I wanted to participate in Fantabulous Cricut challenge me Monday #208~ which is to use an umbrella in your project.

Cricut Cartidge:  "Forever Young"  (everything)
SU Stamps:  Celebrate "Something to Celebrate"  Happy Birthday "Well Scripted"
Paper:  Certainly Celery, So Saffron, DSP Groovy Guava.
Misc: Bling, Corner punch SU Word Window Punch

Now, all I have to do is get some flower seeds, and a gift card.  Oh ya, and remember to mail on time.

Hope you have a fantastic day.....

See why I had to clean my play room this morning.  This believe it or not is from
this one project.  It was clean before I started.   ~take care

Love You

Cricut Folder: Stamp Set: I {heart} Hearts, Well Scripted Paper: Orchid Opulence, Elegant Eggplant, Glossy White Silver cord, Rhinestone Technique: Joseph Coat The card is cut at a 5 1/4 x 10 1/2 so when folded in makes a 5 1/4" square card-cut from orchid opulence, the next layer is eggplant cut at 4 x 4 3/4 and embossed with my big shot, then layered with a sheet of glossy 3 3/4 x 4 1/2. I used the Joseph Coat Technique- http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/josephs_coat/. Embossing in clear, then rolling over in elegant eggplant. The phrase in embossed in Silver. I love this set, I have been waiting for a long time for SU to come out with a worthy heart set I could spend my hard earned money on. I do believe this is it. It has fun stamps, as well as elegant, large to small. This is my first clear stamp set that I bought, well this and well scripted at the same time.

Happy Birthday Kandi JB #18

Just Buggin' challenge # 18 "in the shadows" The first post of 2010! :) Happy New Year everyone! I hope your year is wonderful! This weeks challenge was to use the shadow or blackout feature, which I did on both the flower and the butterfly. Ink: Rich Razzleberry, Black Emboss, Chocolate Chip Paper: Razzleberry Lemonade, Crushed Curry, Razzle Berry, Chocolate Chip Bling: Some misc diamonds, silver cord. champagne mist Cartridge: Home De'cor Stamp sets: Well Scripted, Priceless, & En Francais I made this card for one of friends birthdays. She is the one who inspires me to do these challenges with 'Just buggin' so I thought it only fitting that I use the Cricut to honor her birthday. First I stamped the en francais on top of the DSP in chocolate chip, next I stamped the butterfly in razzleberry randomly. I used the eyelet border to cut the crushed curry on the left side, and tied it with a little cord. I cut the flower at 3" and the butterfly at 1 1/2 (I believe) I then used the shimmer paint in champagne to shine up the flower and butterfly. The greeting is embossed in black. I like to emboss because it really makes it stand out. Almost done~ It needed a little bling to make it complete, so I rumaged through my drawers and found some sticky diamonds. Miss KANDI PANTS I hope you have a terriffic Birthday!!!! Luv ya bunches! Thanks for celebrating it with us!! and HAPPY NEW YEAR to all of you!
