Poppin' Birthday

I've been playing with my new stamps.  I gotta say...I love getting back in the swing of things.  I forgot how relaxing and satisfying it is to make cards.  I made this one just for the sake of playing.  Remember like when we were kids, and we'd just do something for the sake of it being fun.  As adults we really don't get that luxury very often. Especially if there little ones (or teenagers) around demanding our time.  LOL

Recipe:
Technique: Poppin Pastels
Stamp Sets: "Patterned Party", "Teeny Tiny Wishes"
Ink Colors: Basic Gray, Baja Breeze,
Paper:  Daffodil Delight, Baja Breeze, Tangerine Tango,
Accessories: SU Word window punch, SU  'Chevron' embossing folder

Poppin' Pastels

I made this one for a make and take project at a workshop. I had some new joiners to this group. So I thought I would show them some uses for the pastels. For the background I used the priceless brass template you just use a q-tip to add some color on the cardstock. I used sage shadow. For the center of the flowers I "stamp off" sage shadow. The butterflies are simply poppin' pastels. I used Summer sun and sage shadow to color them.

Heartfelt Valentine

I love the colors here. Definitely very feminine, and striking. I used Wet Paper Watercoloring for the background piec. The set is "Heartfelt Thanks" this set is great for 2-step stamping. The colors I used are Rose Red, Cameo Coral, Barely Banana )straight off the color coach) I also tried a little dieing on the ribbon and flower from 'prettiest kit' using Cameo Coral. I think it turned pretty cute.
