Mini Purses

This cute little purse was the splitcoast technique challenge for this week. I decided I would play along. A friend of mine is having her birthday today. So this is part of her gift. I made 4 note cards to go inside the purse. I was feeling a little retro-spring going on today. So I used some SU dsp paper from 1 1/2 years or so ago. Below you will find the pattern. I just copied the pattern onto my dsp and decorated from there. It turned out really cute, so I made another one for the hostess of one of my Stampin' Up! workshops. This is the first technique challenge I have done, but it was fun-so perhaps-just perhaps I shall try more. :) teehee Hand Bag template: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/showpost.php?p=11948156&postcount=1 thanks Mel (stampztoomuch).

Happy Thanksgiving

This is the first time I played with my wonder crayons. It was definately an experience. I will need more practice. I can see the potential with them. They are not at all hard to use. In fact they are really easy. The colors just glide on, you can shade with them, watercolor solid images. They are so much more versital that any other coloring medium. Colors used: Chocolate Chip, Cameo Coral. The bottom I embossed in gold. The leaves(Garden Green) I cut free hand, and added some crystal effect to make them shine.

Serigraph Spring

This technique is called Serigraph. There are a few steps to this technique but it is worth it. I used the "Looks Like Spring" set. Colors used were: bordering blue, really rust. Embossed white on glossy cardstock. Then I cut the picture apart, framed it and put it back together. Added the button to draw some attention. This the one and only time so far that I have tried this technique, I will have to try it again. Just for the SAG of it.
