For Father

I made the box for a workshop. The card for my dad. I actually made a few of these cards in varying colors and images from the "For Father" set. This one turned out to be favorite combo though. bravo burgandy and bordering blue.

Hedgehog Sharing

This is a magnetic card that I made for BFF-we got together and made her daughters first birthday cake. Then had her party. I am just so grateful that she is my friend and that she shares her family with me. Thanks Amber. I used soft sky, really rust, and SU papers. The hodgepodge and also some faux stitching around the pouch. The inside is hooked with magnets, very carefully under the paper so you can't see it.

Wonderful Butterfly

This was made for our workshop in October. I have some new people, they are the best. It is a challenge to make something for the advanced stamper as well the newbies. I think this project does a pretty good job. We embossed the butterfly with white then bleached it out. A couple punches the tricky bow and some pearls. We used the iridescent ice on the pink (from bella rose) so in the real world it sparkles. We did emboss the wonderful on the bottom. The background is basic gray, the pink is trimmed with ivory.

Amazing Daddy

I made this card for my amazing daddy. I used the crackle background stamp with moss, then stamped the little flower from 'pretty amazing' over top. The paper is SU designer from 07. I colored in the hummingbird with chalk, and put iridesent ice over the top of front piece. It sparkles in person. I am working on my photo skills so maybe I can retake this one. Thanks for looking at this one.

Glad You're Mine

I embossed with the cuttle bug, I think it matches really well with the stem on this flower. The paper I used was bordering blue, summer sun, white. For the inks I used tangerine tango, summer sun, riding hood red, bordering blue, bashful blue, basic gray to stamp the outline of the flower.

Loving Lilac

Oh sooooo many new toys to play with out of this caty. The scallop punch is a must have! And I love this hostess set "best yet" it has perfect sayings.... That flower is a bugger to line up though.

Thinking of You

I must admit I hate to waste anything. The flowers on the bottom are a recovered mistake. I just couldn't toss it. I was actually pretty happy of the outcome, if nothing else it is original.
The colors I used were summer sun, tangerine, riding hood. I used my creative memories ovals to cut out the part on top, and stamped in thinking of you.

Lonely

This was my last card of the day with this set anyway--Had a blast. Thanks for looking. I think the funest part was stamping on the ribbon, it really added a special zing. The colors used are Basic gray, craft white, old olive, very vanilla ribon. With a little hardware at the bottom. The card is a 5 1/4 x 5 1/4.

Get Well Magic

Ihad to make another magic card. The very first one I did I didn't publish. It was with the skunk from Pun Fun. I will have to try again and publish. The colors I used are turquoise, coral, saffron.

Priceless Butterflies

Technique Junkie at work here I used white paper and made the faux tile using a score blade. Then used the sponge brayer over with pale plum rolled over and filling in the 'grout'. Then I stamped the darker images over the top. The colors I used are rose red, pale plum, ruby red, mustard. You can barely see the grout lines, so when we do this in person you will better appreciate it. Isn't this set fun though "priceless" .

Creamed Baroque

This is the Joy fold card and Shaving Cream technique. We did this for my August 2008 workshops. Used the new Bella Rose paper. Also the "in colors" riding hood red, kiwi kiss. Stamped the saying with stazon black since we used glossy cardstock. Used an old punch to make the flowers. The first time I saw the new colors I was very disappointed, but wow I love them now. They coordinate so well with all the other colors. I love hearing the members first come in and say how beautiful a card is. Then when theirs is finished they are so in awe that they made something so beautiful. Thank you ladies for all your wonderful praise.

Dancin' Bug

Tilt Card Technique Really very cute. The little ladybug shakes. Used Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Ruby Red, and white, Very Vanilla grosgrain ribbon.

Best Is Yet To Be

The day I stamped this I had just gotten "Flower Fancy" from the men in brown. Since it is die cut I imediately put it together and made a few sample cards. For this one I used baja breeze and chocolate chip. Which really maked the craft white pad stand out. I embossed the flower. Some bleaching would look really cool, so I might try that. I also used my square punch to cut out a block then stamped the phrase behind. Tied some chocolate tafeta ribbon around. Guess what else I got that day----yep my prettiest kit, so there you see it. The first thing I ever did with the kit. The scallop around the edges was done with 3- scallop circles, you basically cut out the center so it makes one string, then wrap it around your cardstock.

Groovy Tulip

I used the direct ot paper technique to do the background. Garden Whimsy set. The colors I used were Groovy Guava, white, Sage Shadow. and Groovy guava ribbon. The tulip I used the rock n roll technique using cameo coral, and guave. My favorited word set I used was Wonderful Favorites. This set is really awesome. It has sister, bro, aunt, etc. so it is great for scrapbooking.

Santas Helpers 08

The colors are night of navy, old olive, real red. I embossed the old olive with the cuttlebug. The elves are a really old set that I got long ago-like 1996. It was one of the first sets I ever bought. If anyone else has this I would love to know.
