FC #11 Birthday Flowers

Fantabulous Cricut #11 Use at least 3 flowers

Cartridges: Walk in my garden 1" Doodlecharms bucket 1" Home Decor dragonfly 1 1/4" (shrinky dink) SU Paper: apricot appeal, lovely lilac, cameo coral, garden green, Punches: scallop circle-to make the clouds, sponged with bashful blue. Phrase: SU well scripted Ok the challenge was to use at least 3 flowers, I think I met my quota!! I got my inspiration from those buckets that you see out in the yard and the flowers are just falling out of them. They always look so springy. And I am loving the shrinky dink accessories. Hope you have a great day today!

JB# 34 Picnic Parade

Cricutters Anonymous Challenge #34 Picnic Inspiration

Cartrides: Doodlecharms, watermelon 3 1/4" Walk in my Garden, Caterpillar 1 1/4" Paper Dolls: Pie 3 1/4" Disney Princess: Apple 3 1/4" Pooh & Friends: 1 1/4" SU Paper: gable green, regal rose, rose red, black, basic gray, creamy caramel Stamp sets: Peechy Keen faces SU: Picnic Parade To make the ants I cut out the caterpillars at 1 1/2" then cut them to only have three segments. I then added some wiggle eyes! The watermelon are sad to be taken away by the ants.

The apple is just confused!

The pie seems to be in cahoots with ants.
I put the checkerboard for a border on the bottom, so it would like a picnic table cloth. I don't have pictures for this layout but you can bet that I will. :) I still just love these peachy keen faces, they just add to everything.

Just a little tip, to save paper on cards or LO. When you need a border cut out the middle. Then apply it behind the paper, voila! Then you can use the center to frame your pictures.

Ladybug Birthday !!!!!

This is her cute little ladybug cake. It turned out too cute so I had to post it. The card I made for her. I quilled the ladybugs, and flowers. Used the cuttlebug for the background dots, and stamped a little too. This is my first pop up card. It wasn't as hard as I thought. I made the ladybug using the cuttlebug, "walk in my garden" and "upsy daisy" for the stamp set. The flowers are stamped in regal rose, garden green is also used. She absolutely thinks they are the coolest. TFL

Mommy Day Cards 2009

I made this one for my Amber. Using the Cricut. "walk in my garden" cartridge. Don't you just love the snail. This one was made for my x-mom in law. Just wanted to wish a happy mothers also. This is one is for my mom. Again the cute little snail. Hey when you got a good thing goin' right. I use the cuttlebug to emboss the background. I made this one for my BFF's mom. I was in a tri-fold card mode that day. So I made this when I made my graduation cards for trade. This one is for my boyfriends mom. I used a stamp that I have had around for quit a while. I knew I wanted to do the cracked glass technique. Just finishing was the challenge.
