
To do the
faux tile technique, start by scoring your white
cardstock. You can use the "
scorepal" or just a score blade (shown). Load your paper
diagonally, then score at 1" intervals. Position your paper so you can score across the lines you have established.

Making a criss cross pattern, now it looks like a tile grid.

With a sponge brayer, or daubers add some color to your tile. Be sure to put more emphasis into your lines! So the "grout" lines will show.

You can then decorate your tile as you like.
