2008 Christmas Cards

Christmas Greetings: This is another Christmas card I made with the 'Snow Swirled' The snowflakes are incredible. I have never seen prettier ones. The big one is my favorite-so detailed. I used not quit navy, bravo burgundy, garden green. The tree is stamped in garden green on Kraft white, then of course sparkled with dazzling diamonds. I dry embossed the burgundy and set it with the green before adhering the tree. The snowflakes are stamped in craft white, then embossed with iridescent ice. The whole thing is then attached on craft white and stamped seasons greeting on the bottom in garden green. Little bit of work in this card, but not hard.

Polished ChristmasI for Ed: I used the Polished Stone technique on the background. Then embossed the Christmas Tree with my cuttlebug. Had to add some sparkle, and some gold embossing on the side-wishing you Season's Greetings. I used ruby red cut to 10 1/2 x 5 1/4 -fold in half and garden green trim. The Christmas is a pretty big embossing folder so I had to have the card to match. This was actually my first card with the 'tree' I am usually not happy with a card until the 10-20th try. LOL
Dainty Blizzard used this card for my trade, and to hand out, to family and friends. This card is a lot of work, but well worth the results. I will have a tutorial soon! Elegant Swirls Used basic gray, embossed silver snowflakes from "snow swirled" and used elegant eggplant for the background. This another card for friends and family. Silver Christmas Used basic gray, and bravo burgandy together. "snow swirled" The silver shinny stuff is actually tin foil. I wrapped around paper to help it keep it's shape. For Shelby: used "Christmas Cheer" Cricut, and embossed with the cuttle bug. My hubby's: "storybook" cartridge, jolliest time of the year stamp set. Red riding hood, and baja breeze. Tree is colored in Old olive. Chunky glitter for the snow under tree. For Shanice: stamp set used was "snow swirled" gold embossed on dsp. Creamy caramel used to frame. All put on white craft paper. Jolly Christmas for Bradon: Cricut~"Christmas Cheer" to cut out the chimney. "jolliest time of the year" for the sants. Stamped "french script" in navy on navy for the background. Tied a red riding hood tafeta ribbon. I had some old fun flock that I put on the chimney. For Sheldon" Embossed the silver, and pacific pacific point with the cuttlebug. Used "Christmas cheer" to cut out the ornaments. Added some bling with the chunky glitter. For Callie: cartridges used "tink and friends" and "storybook" I embossed the snowflakes on basic gray with iridesent ice. Again chunky essentials for the sparkles on Tink. The Browns: "Jolliest time of the year", dsp, baja breeze stamped with snow swirled. (which has quickly become my favorite Christmas set)
