Dry Embossing, Debossing

DRY EMBOSSING: Use a piece of wax paper to rub over the spot where you will be embossing. This will help the stylus to glide along the cardstock. Then put the classy brass template on top of the light table, and the card stock on top of the template, as shown. Using the stylus gently trace along the desired design. Okay that is it for the regular dry embossing. Now lets add some dimension. This is called Debossing. Using a background stamp, sponges, or a brayer. You will color the debossed side of the cardstock. The debossed side is the indented side. The embossed side is the raised side of the cardstock. Now you can see how the debossing just pops off the page. Alrighty then... go ahead and finish your card!
