A Bottle of Merlot

I have actually been wanting to make a wine theme cake.  I was ecstatic when the call came in for one.  It was so fun to make.  I myself like the white wines.  However, red ones have prettier grapes.  I made these grapes really shiny and pretty.  The wine bottle is shaped from cake. Kinda like a cake pop.  I printed the label and name tag on edible paper.  Here are my results.  Hope you like them.

Spongebob Cake

I have a little girl that I  babysit.  She loves Spongebob I do not.  Oh, well personal preferences aside, the cake turned out really cute.  She talks about her cake that Sharon made for her everyday.  I love the Krabby Patty.. Just perfect for a 3 yr old's birthday party!

Most people order a cake and tell me what they want the outside to look like.  This customer called and told me what the inside had to look like.  Then just make the outside match.  I love this frilly cake.  The inside was really fun to make too.  I made one for my family so we could check out the inside.

Sweet Kitten

This card is for Jason's grandma Gayle.  Hopefully on our way to Sturgis, we get to stop in for her annual birthday party.  She is really a sweet woman.  So warm, and welcoming.

Summer Penguins

I know penguins are typically in a winter setting, and that they love the snow.  That's great for a winter birthday celebration.  This cake was for a summer birthday though.  Flowers became the prop. I really love the cake stand, that I set everything up on.  This spread was made for Jasons daughter.  

Avatar Cake for my Love

My babe is a huge fan of Avatar.  He has to watch it probably once a month on the big TV with big sound.  It really sucks when he gets in the mood, because he's suffering from insomnia and everyone else is (was) sleeping like a dog.   Look how cool the eyeball cupcake turned out!  They are my favorite!  

Planes Trains and Automobiles

The call came in for this cake.  It's for cakes for cancer.  It breaks my heart to hear of anyone fighting for their life against cancer.  Especially when it is a child.  I am glad I could even a little part to help this little guy have a happy birthday.  He really like planes, trains and automobiles.  So he got them all!   Happy Birthday Michael
