The client wanted a Utah Jazz themed cake. This is a white cake with vanilla butter cream frosting. Decorated in butter cream and fondant. The floor looks like an actual wood floor, complete with basket and basketball.

Dreamweaver Birthday Presents
I want to share some cards I made using a birthday stencil. This is a Sizzix embossing folder, that I took apart so I could use it for a stencil with my Dreamweaver products. Such a cute present. You probably remember, I used these on my Christmas Tags. Fun to use some other mediums to create a different look.

Friendship Birds~ Embossed
A card I made with my new stamp set and punches! Yes, I am addicted.
I just got this set, and punch along with the new black. The new pads are AMAZING! I use to worry that I wouldn't be able to apply enough pressure on the pad, (in my old age) but not anymore. Strange sense of security. ;) My son made the comment~ "Mom, I can't hear you tap, tap, tap, with that pad." These foam pads are definitely recommended.

Vintage Flowers
I cannot lie, I was looking at cards made with the Language of Friendship set, and came across this beautiful card. It's just so elegant,
I had to reproduce it. Although, changed slightly. Gotta give credit to the original artist.

Woodgrain Freindship Birds
This is my latest stamp set, and punches!!! So much fun! I wanted to share what I created!
As I was taking the picture of the supplies I used, I noticed there was little bird feeties. Hmmm..I better put feeties on mine! I opened my case, and not feet. Yep, through the garbage I went a digggin'. I forgot to pull them off the foam. :( I'm just glad I noticed before I dumped my little can into the big one outside. That would've been yukky!

Return of Spring
I found this background on Splitcoast stampers. I tried it with my Cricut. I wanted to try it again with my stamps. This time
I smeared the daffodil on the block, then on the paper (regular white paper) then again with certainly celery in diffent spots.
Since the craft ink remains wet for a while, it smeared the colors together. What a fun background. Can't wait to try it
in more colors, and with the regular pads as well.

Stained Glass Balloon
Hi, I procrastinated too long on last weeks challenge. Dang it! Oh well here is this week Fantabulous Cricut Challenge. The challenge this week is to use a kite or balloon. I bought this cartridge specifically for this balloon. This idea popped into my head. You know the kind that hits at 4 am and doesn't allow you to sleep anymore. Then more ideas, and things that need to be done start building, until finally you have to get out of bed, and get something done. Even if it's just jotting down a to do lists! Anyway, I am glad that my idea worked. Gotta love that.
Recipe:
Cartridge: Summer in Paris
Paper: Acetate, DSP, Tempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo, Crumb Cake, white
Accessories: Ribbon, Ribbon Slide
Phrase: computer generated
SC390
SC390
I used my Cricut to cut the balloon in white, crumb cake, also an acetate sheet. I adhered the paper to the acetate sheet. then colored behind. That way I didn't have to worry about staying perfectly in the lines. After coloring was done I glued the colored part onto a white piece of paper, that way the colors show up. What you end up is kind of stained glass hot air balloon.

Moonlight Motorcycle
One of Jason's best friends live in Wyoming. He also just bought a new motorcycle. So, it's only natural that I make him a motorcycle card for his birthday. I didn't put a phrase on the front because I didn't want to detract from the motorcycle it's self. I hope you have a wonderful Paul. Sorry we aren't there to party with you!!! Soon though!
Technique: Brayered Sky
Paper: Glossy cardstock, basic black, white, more mustard
circle punch for the moonlight
Pad: more mustard, pumpkin pie
misc: ribbon, ribbon sidder, brad

Poppin' Birthday
I've been playing with my new stamps. I gotta say...I love getting back in the swing of things. I forgot how relaxing and satisfying it is to make cards. I made this one just for the sake of playing. Remember like when we were kids, and we'd just do something for the sake of it being fun. As adults we really don't get that luxury very often. Especially if there little ones (or teenagers) around demanding our time. LOL

Technique: Poppin Pastels

Frog Cookie Box for St. Patrick's day
I made this cookie box to share some cookies I made on
Friday, with my daycare kids. They all got to decroate
some cookies to take home. We had a fun day. It was a fun weekend as
a matter of fact. It was warm enough to take a bike ride. We had a bit of a lazy
Sunday, watching some 007 movies, and made an Irish dinner.
I hope all of you got to have some fun too.
Recipe:
Live Simply: Frog 6"
Sweet Treats: The box
Everyday Paper Dolls: Hat and Pot O Gold
I used some green glitter on the hat, and dazzling diamonds
on the gold. Googlie eye on the frog. The cookies
were definitely the hard part.

Caterpillars in Love
Found this little picture while looking for some Valentine coloring pages. I remember when I was little, I would go out on the plum tree, and hunt for caterpillars. They weren't hard to find. The plum tree was covered with caterpillars every spring. My dad would let me bring them inside. He'd say "make sure when they hatch, you let them go outside." Without fail~every year, I let one or two loose in the house. My dog loved to chase them, and it made me laugh.
