Jeep Theme

My son recently turned 16! I am so proud of who he is becoming. He makes me just beam inside.
These are a couple invites I played around with. I used the top one!

Here is the birthday card I made for him. He loved it- thought the copper was really cool. (I need a little more practice) But I am pleased with how it turned out.
And his cake, he wanted a white cake! So inside all the decor is a simple white cake.
The banner-notice the jeeps. He has actually had his jeep since February, but he is getting a little closer to being legal!!! LOL
Streamers. We also used these decorations at the Lindon Ladies fair. So they have gotten good use out them. I hate wasting my hard work. Thanks for stopping by today. Take care! And as usual these products can be purchased from LadyBird Designs.

Fantabulous Cricut Crawl: Back To School! FCCB #27

Well..here is my button!
Why a button? Because, over at Fantabulous Cricut we are having a very fun Cricut Crawl. The theme is "Button up for School".

So...if you've come from visiting Sherrie's blog you're in the right place! If you've just happened across my blog and would like to play along with our Fantabulous Cricut Crawl, start HERE.
Each design team member will be featuring a button as well as a cricut cut. somewhere on their project!
Make sure to check out each DT member's blog for some awesome inspiration! There will be prizes along AND a grand prize up for grabs at FCCB for one participant that submits a project meeting the the "Button Up For School" challenge criteria!
How fun is that? Ok, here is the project that goes along with the button.
(of course "L" is for Ladybug) The letter "Aa etc" along with the word was printed out on my computer, then cut on the Cricut, with Tags, boxes, and more. The box is also from TBM but I tweeked it a little to hold the flash cards. Aren't they just the cutest, my little 4 yr old nephew loved them, and so did his mom, especially because I laminated them, so they will last for a long time.
The prize I am offering is a $25.00 gift certificate to LadyBird Designs!
Now it's your turn! Incorporate a button on your own "Button Up For School" project. Make sure to also include a Cricut cut in your porject!
Next stop is Robin, she is amazing, I am sure you will flip for what she has in store. REMEMER when you're done, make sure to link up your project to FCCB's Fantabulous Cricut Crawl post to be entered into the contest!
Happy Crawling! This set is available for purchase over at our Web store LadyBird Designs

Baking up a Sweet Birthday

I thought I would just keep with the theme over at Fantabulous Cricut the whole labor day thing. I was thinking about all the jobs that are out there. I thought of my own personal jobs. My favorite is being a mom. So I get to wear many hats. My second favorite is my new found job with my best friend. So I did this girl baking a cake.
She is from "Everyday Paper Dolls" It made me laugh to think about me and Amber baking our cakes, and how fun it is, and how much our kids enjoy the finished products. They are always so excited when we have a mistake, a cake sticks or overfills the pan. :) and the disappointed faces if we say there isn't some for them. Of course, we always bake extra, so they get some kind of treat. Our kids will always remember this about us.
The phrase is printed from my computer. and I added sparkles to the frosting, and some fun candles. Have a great day----

I chose to do my project with a cop. I had a couple of things in mind when I made this card. So now I don't which one of my sons I am going to give this to. son #1 has a tendency to get tickets here and there. So I thought this would be funny to give it to him. Son #2 is turning 16 in a couple weeks, I thought this could be a warning for him!
I used "Everyday Paper Dolls" The phrase is computer generated. The face is from Peachy Keen! Thanks for stopping by today!!! and Be safe out there he's watching!! :) Please see our website to purchase this or any other of products. LadyBird Designs

Smurfs Galore

I finally got my daughters Smurf party scrapbooked. I am so happy. I also happy she likes the little blue creatures. They were one of my favs growing up.
All Smurf pics were gathered from online coloring coloring books, printed then scanned into my computer. Saving them directly to my CPU didn't give me clear results. So I had to scan them. That's ok though the kids like to color them.
