Meet "Bubba Fish" he is a digi-stamp from squigglefly.
Isn't that funny a fish blowing bubbles.
Paper is from SU! green galore, apricot appeal, tempting turquoise.
I used Crystal Effects on the bubbles, to make them come alive. I used
Teeny Tiny Wishes for the phrase.
He is really kind of a cute little fish. So I wanted to make him very
colorful, then I found the paper. I kind of put my cart before the
horse on this one, by coloring the fish and then finding paper to match.

Thinking of You
I don't mind the rain, especially a nice spring rain. The smell is so fresh. "raindrops ribbitt" from High Hopes is doing just that, he is taking a spring walk in the rain. The colors I used were apricot appeal, lovely lilac, white, & bashful blue. The drops are cut from pooh and friends. I ran the background through my cuttlebug with the swiss dots folder. . You can see some sprinkles (SU!) on the lilac under the white ribbon. I used the window punch to make a place for the phrase, using teeny tiny phrases. I find my self using that set a lot, there is a little something for everything in that set.

Easter Egg Holders FCCB #2
Fantabulous Cricut Design Challenge #2 Use Pastel colors to create an Easter project.
I used New Arrival to cut the butterfly, flower, and bunny at 3". The faces are stamped with Peechy Keens faces, then highlighted with white. The faces just make these little guys. Of course I added some bling with iridescent ice and stamped some detail on the butterfly wings.
These Easter Egg holders are cut from Doodlecharms - and wrapped around the eggs. I will most likely make more of these to hold all of cute eggs.
Close up of the butterfly, so you can see the stamps and glitter on the wings.
The sparkly flower, and the cute little faces. I colored on them just a little with my copics.
Who could ask for a cuter bunny. The eggs are decorated with SU! Eggcellent egg kit. Way fun to decorate these ceramic eggs and make the egg holders. My daughter had fun painting the eggs with me.

You're Unfrogettable
Love this cute little frog. He is from High Hopes Stamps "raindrops ribbit" The paper is some SU! DSP I've had for I believe 2 years. I used the cuttle bug forest branches on the barely banana behind the frog. The brads are also some I've had laying around for a while. The phrase is from SU: unfrogettable it seemed to just cry for that statement. I have been playing with my new copic markers. I just love, love, love them. So you will probably see a lot of these poppin' up.

Easter Eggs Galore
This is the card we made last night, at our stamp camp. I used the crayon technique. You use a hot iron with tinfoil on it to make the swirly background on glossy paper. I haven't used this set for such a long time SU! loads of love so it was fun to dig it out again. I really think the razzleberry is such an awesome color-it's beautiful. I love getting ready for Easter-it means spring is here. Just smell the tulips.

JB # 29 Dragon's
Just Buggin' Challenge #29 Make a Man themed project.
Cake decorating is one of my other hobbies. I have collected many pans over the years. This is the cake I made for Dru's Birthday. He likes dragon's. I have had this cake pan for years, I picked it up at a yard sale--because it looked cool. It has sat downstairs for a few years. I am glad to finally be able to use this. I am pretty pleased how it turned out.
If someone would have told me when I bought this cartridge "Happily Ever After" that I would be making my boyfriends birthday card. I would have said "you are silly" But Mulan actually has quit the awesome dragon, and I love the tree. This card is a little out of my box, but I like how it turned out. After I cut out the dragon I embossed him in gold. The tree is cut out of always artichoke, and soft suede. The paper is SU! DSP- soft suede, and the gems-I picked up a while ago from oriental trading. (sometimes they have some good finds.)
I hope you enjoy my manly card-for my favorite man. Have a great day.

Leapin' Leprachaun
Happy St. Patrick's Day (green beer for everyone)
YAY! I just love this Leapin' Leprechaun that I stumbled across. He is from High Hopes stamps.
I also used SUteeny tiny wishes, I used the triple heart punch to make the clover. The background is the baby wipe technique-only I swirled instead of stripping. The colors I used for the bg were garden green, gable green and creamy caramel. The paper colors are: garden green, chocolate chip, glossy white, and of course white. Dazzling diamonds are on the magical clovers.
Have a happy St. Patrick's Day!!!!

My Kitty
This is my most beautiful kitty. She loves baskets and boxes of all shapes and sorts. The funniest is when she tries to fit her fluffy body into a check box. Yes a regular box that comes with your checks in it. She puts her feet all the way, and her fluff just lays outside of it. She like this basket much better though, her fluff fits, and she is basking in the sun, while still being right next to me.
Shades of Green
I had a bit of a hard time putting this card together. I wanted to give an idea of what you could do with a single flower. I wanted something elegant, yet easy to do. So this is what I came up with.
I hope you like it.
Ok first the flower- it is stamped on vellum with stazon black. Then I colored it in with my SU wonder color crayons, always artichoke, and certainly celery. I then adhered it to a square of certainly celery backed by always artichoke. Same with the phrase, but using the small oval punch and the scallop oval punch. The ribbon I used is SU white organza, I don't know about you but I love this ribbon, and I hope to see more colors. It is all layered on Always artichoke behind craft-rolled in artichoke with the speckled wheel. (I think this is my favorite wheel lately). The pearl is from SU prettiest kit.

The challenge was to use an object "balloons" and a word "Birthday" seems simple enough. However, this card took me a while to come up with. Must be first time jitters :)!
Cartridge: Everyday Paper dolls. Cut at 3"
Paper: SU! pale plum, texture white.
I hope you get some inspiration from us, and have a great day! Thanks for stopping by! I really hope you will join us at Fantabulous cricut. (Just click on my title---to be popped over)

Card Candy
OK-for the month of March our group did some "green card candy" The six items I chose are the background paper, the froggy, leprechaun, a phrase, a green flower and I know, I know the stein isn't green. But really you don't get more St. Patrick's than a beer right!!!!! The next following days I am going to feature the individual items on cards I have made. Just to give an idea of what to do once you receive your card candy.
Baby Bubbles
This is one of the possibilities for Dru's sisters baby shower. I just got this satin bashful blue ribbon isn't is beautiful...(from SU of course) The stamp I used is from High Hopes, bubble fun. I like to quill, occasionally, so I made this little duck. The paper is SU DSP and certainly celery. The phrase is cut from New Arrival. What do you think? I will keep working. I am not sure how many I need to make so I may want something simpler. lol :0)

Luck 'o the Irish-JB #28
Challenge #28: Make something green for St. Patrick's Day!
The challenge this week was to make something for St. Patricks. I love this holiday-it's just a fun one. No stress. I started this card with high hopes Leapin' Leprechaun. I colored him with my copic markers, and cut him out. I decided that he really needed to have a rainbow behind him. That is done on glossy white using a brayer. The cricut cartridge I used was paper dolls cutting the clovers out at 1" & 1 1/2" on gable green cardstock, then sponged them in green galore and glorious green. I used SU big glitter to highlight the clovers, and some dazzling diamonds so the ones in his hands shimmer. The phrase is from SU teeny tiny wishes!
Thanks for stopping by today, have a great day!

Best Friends
This is my first project with my new Copic markers. I think it looks pretty good. I do need more practice. But they are so fun to use. The stamp is from "Hedgehog Happiness" I absolutely love these cute hedgehogs. When I first saw them I flipped. Amber bought me a little hedgehog, it is made of paper-but cute just the same. So to make this card for her is perfect. The phrase was printed on my handy dandy computer, then cut with curlz punch. I used the 5/8" certainly celery from sale a bration- last year. I used the "sprinkles" set to add some dimension to the Cameo Coral background.
Oh - and I seen someone do these butterflies and flowers with the copics, I had to try it. Once again I need more practice. But I really do like how my card turned out.

Sweet Spring- Just buggin' #27
Challenge #27: Use a card feature on any cartridge
Cartridges: A Child's First Year, George & Basic, Doodle Type
This weeks challenge is to use the "card" feature. This one is from A Child's First Year-cut at 8.42 x 5.47. Then I used the rectangle (3.25 x 4.5) from George & Basic to center on the front of the card. I then cut some flowers from Doodle Type in certainly celery, apricot appeal, tempting turquoise. Then adhered them to the card. I liked how you can see right through the card. I used a misc. stamp to add the phrase, and some bling. I made the one flower big enough to write on! Thanks for the challenge I really enjoyed making this card.
