I was just messing around day with my quill stuff.  Jason looked through my book, and said I should make ALL the ocean things for him.  Well, I will have to do that a little at a time.  But I started with this mean looking fishy!  It's for my babe's happy birthday today!
It's kind of cute though.
Happy Birthday to the love of my life!

Transformer Cake

Photobucket

Check out this Transformer cake.
I hope this little boy loved it!
He should right?
Everything is eadible, the transformer and flames are hand sculpted.
The cake is Chocolate with Cream cheese filling.

Kitty & Yarn

Mom Judy loves to sew, and knit. I made this little kitty card for her!  I think she will like it.  She will at least like that I thought of her, and hand made her a card.  She's sentimental like that.  By the way, Judy is Jason's mom, and she is a great person.  The kitty is colored with my Copics. I really enjoy using them. I get on a kick some nights, while we are watching a movie, and I color like a mad woman.  Then I have to put together cards.  I like using the sketches from Splitcoast Stampers, they have a weekly sketch challenge. It's kind of fun to play along. The yarn is cut with my Cricut machine.  Sometimes I go wild with that thing too.  Just cuttin out this and that~ not quit having a purpose for all of them.  It's a good thing I know a lot of people to make cards for.  LOL

Recipe:

Cricut Cartridge: Country Life ball of yarn cut at 3"
Paper: Dsp, Marina Mist, Crumb Cake,
Accessories: SU ribboon
Splitcoast: SC382

Cars Theme for Archer

Photobucket The customer for this cake is very special to me.  He is one of my kids I watch at my daycare.  He talked about this cake he wanted for months.  You know how kids are, they plan their birthday for years ahead.  Oh, if only they were that exciting as you got older.  BLAH!

The flavor of this cake is white, with raspberry cream cheese filling.    Perfect cake if you have a child that loves 'Disney Cars'.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have a wonderful day!!!

Teal Wedding

PhotobucketThe client came to a cake tasting, and said my cakes rocked.  The night before my girlfriend and I stayed up and made alcohol flavored cakes.  We made Kahlua, Amaretto, Raspberry liquor, rum & Honey Suckle wine.   We did a bit of taste testing as well, mmmm delicious!   The final flavor she chose was Kahlua for the top and Rum flavored for the bottom two layers.  The flowers are died to match the wedding colorsl.  It looked so beautiful when I got it all together.

Cannabis

I love request that are out of the ordinary.  The lady I made this cake has become one of my favorite customers.  Every time she calls, she's got an interesting challenge for me.  She really gets my creative juices flowing.

Cake flavor is French Vanilla, with butter cream.

Notice Michael Jordan on the TV, the Gatorade, and all the snacks.
Incredibly fun to make.

All In

Photobucket"All in" on this cake.  Poker table and poker chip cupcakes.  I can just imagine the fun and decor that went along with this cake.  Funny story about this....when I put the letters on I left out the "i"  tee hee ~ so it read Happy Birthday "Da man"   Glad I noticed before I delivered.

I used 'Disney-Classics' cartridge to cut the cards.

Circus Cake

Photobucket  I must thank FB for the the opportunity to make this cake.  A girlfriend I went to school with found me.  She noticed that I made cakes, and ordered one for her grandson's first birthday.  She wanted me to match the circus decorations that her daughter had purchased for the party.  Beside those basic instructions, I had complete freedom.  The top with polka dots on it, also has polka dots on the inside.  The inside of the striped cake is layered, so it looks stripped as well.  So fun!!!  The animals are always so fun to create.  There is nothing like the happiness of putting it all together.

Baby Giraffe

This is for another little girl I spend my days with.  She has this cute shirt that she wears,(it's my favorite).  I told her momma it would be a cute bday cake.  She took my suggestion, and it became her first birthday cake.  Her mom wrapped it up with a zoo theme and little Sophie got to spend the day at the zoo.  The cupcake flavors are Party cake with butter cream, Chocolate with peanut butter, and cherry chip with cream cheese.  Makes my mouth water as I type.

Shanice is one of my first customers.  She ordered this cake for her little sis.
